The Right Equation, the Only Equation!

The day after the notorious 'Gaza Flotilla' took place, Daniel, the young man in the still life photo, has caught world's attention when a Democast video surfaced in the Internet, covering his single handed pro-Israel rally. The moment the terrible news about the flotilla came out, Daniel sensed that the Arabs will vehemently protest Israel right to defend itself. So what does a young American Jew, a devoted supporter of the State of Israel do? He dressed up in his 'Friends of the IDF' shirt, picked up the Israeli flag and went to stand, in support of the State of Israel, in front of the Israeli consulate building, in Los Angeles, California; he saw it his duty to show his support for the Jewish State's action, stopping the flotilla from breaking the blockade on Gaza. Daniel's message was loud and clear: I am for and I am with Israel. I am Israel. Daniel stood in support of Israel because, in his mind, that was the right thing to do. And indeed it was.

Since it was not an organized rally, there were no other people in front Israel's consulate standing in support of Israel. But there were many noisy Arabs who came to show and spew their hate towards the Jewish State.

And so Daniel, the one brave supporter of Israel, needed protection from the angry Arab mob. And protection he got. The local law enforcement was there in numbers. At least ten of them surrounded Daniel and made sure he could express his view, favoring Israel, without any fear. At least ten policemen protected Daniel from the Arab mob ready to attack, perhaps even lynch him, for being pro-Israel and perhaps even for simply being a Jew.

The Freedom of Expression we greatly cherish in the United States had proven, once again, to exist and it was respectfully practiced with police supervision.

The picture's metaphor:

Daniel equates with the peace seeking State of Israel. The hostile Arab mob equates with the hostile, war monger Arab countries surrounding Israel. The policemen equate with the USA, the power that is helping to protect the Jewish State.

Daniel is the symbol of all Jews; please join him and stand firm for our Jewish homeland.
