MIGRON MUST STAY!

To Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,

It seems incredible and pathetic that in the midst of a critically important decision making on Iran your government Mr. Netanyahu is facing with, while surrounded by threats from Egypt, Syria, and Lebanon, as well as the on-going internal threats from the PA, Hezbollah and Hamas, Israel is still busy embarking on its horrific, intolerable, illegal and illogical plans to destroy its own people.

We, the Jewish nation, have just passed the 7th anniversary of the painful and traumatic expulsion of Jews from Gush Katif and four beautiful communities in the Shomron; 25 flourishing Jewish communities have disappeared from Jewish life and FOR WHAT?
Other communities have fallen since then, and now Migron, a beautiful mountain-top community in the Shomron, is threatened with destruction this coming Tuesday, August 28, 2012. The arguments for doing this are pitiful and disturbing. There is NO legal basis for the destruction of Migron, but plans for the demolition are relentlessly in progress. Pleads and petitions have been filed; the Levy report you commissioned was issued, which finds ALL Jewish neighborhoods in Judea and Samaria to be legal. Despite all this, your government intends to pursue its shameful and malevolent plan.

The 49 families of Migron have been working desperately to save their homes and community. The Legal Forum for the Land of Israel, led by Moshe Eyal, is active in trying to find some legal remedies for the situation. Anita Tucker, one of the good soles refugees from the Gush Katif expulsion, formed a committee to help Migron, Givat Assaf, and other communities threatened with demolition. Her experience from the Gush Katif expulsion can help and benefit these communities the government of Israel has criminally let down.

Until now, it is like speaking to the wall. No sense can be drummed into the brains of the leadership in Israel.

We are heartbroken and we are angry.

So again, please watch the video to hear the straight facts on the Migron situation.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fphs91zCY6o

Perhaps, if enough people e-mail to you Mr. PM Netanyahu, all simply saying, MIGRON MUST STAY, it might help and you will finally have the backbone to stand for what is right.

I have no faith that our efforts will change the situation about the government of Israel addiction to destroy the land and more so to destroy the morale of its people, but we must make the effort as this letter does.

Remember: If Jews have no right to a barren hillside in Samaria, desolate all through their 2000 years exile, Jews have no claim between the River and the Sea.
